   Learn to sculpt a small whimsical head out of polymer clay and attach to a tin to start this sweet little butterfly!  You’ll learn a fun “tie dye” technique to color the wings.  You will learn to work with clay, paint, chalks, wire, paper and inks.

Supply List:
  • Black, medium point Sharpie
  • Scissors
  • Optional:  Apron, round nose pliers, favorite sculpting tools (note, sculpting tools will be provided in the kit if you do not have them)

       In Joyce’s second class of ADAA 2015, you will sculpt a small jointed doll from polymer clay.  You will use a mold for the head.  Make a simple almost-no-sew costume. Finish the piece with charming trims and clay trinkets.   You will give the doll a box to house her which will be decorated using paints, paper and lots of sparkles.  The box can be hung on the wall or displayed on shelf or table.
